Itinerary

Pickup 8:15 am/10:15 am:

  • Pick up from select Hotels/Airbnb’s/Airport within City Limits of Page, Arizona. Pick up happens between 8 am and 8:20 for the 8:15 selection and between 10 am and 10:20 am for the 10:15 selection. Our Dineh Tours Tour Director will arrive in a white deluxe 15-passenger van emblazoned with our logo and name.

What to expect at Lower Antelope Canyon:

8:50 am/10:55 am:

  • Check in at Lower Antelope Canyon is handled by your Dineh Tours Tour Director. While he/she is checking in for the group you are more than welcomed to browse the gift shop. Keep in mind that they only accept card payments and cash is no longer accepted. Portable restrooms are on site and due to no running water at the facility. After check in your Tour Director will gather the group and share insights to the beautiful structure that the office is replicated after, the Navajo dwelling, the Hogan. Before heading out your Tour Director will help with camera settings and tips to help you get the best photos.

9:05 am/11:05 am:

  • Groups start heading out on an approximately 10-minute walk to Lower Antelope Canyon entrance.

9:15 am/11:15 am:

  • Entrance to Lower Antelope Canyon starts with an initial descent of 6 flights of stairs for an overall descent of 74 feet or 23 meters. The stairs are regulated by Navajo Nation Occupational Safety & Health Act (NNOSHA). Stairs with handrails will accompany you throughout the canyon for your safety.

10:20 am/12:20 pm:

  • Exiting Lower Antelope Canyon is done with the assistance of 8 separate structures. They vary from 1 step to 4 steps to one flight of stairs. Upon arrival back at the original departure spot your Dineh Tours Tour Director will meet you.

10:25 pm/12:25pm: Drop-off

Returning you back to your Hotel/Airbnb/Airport. As we make our way back to your drop-off, please gather all your belongings that you brought with you. If for any reason you leave something on our van, please call and we can plan to have them returned. Your Dineh Tours Tour Director does accept tips, the industry recommendation is 10-20%. If you do not have cash do not worry, your Dineh Tours Tour Director does have peer-to-peer (P2P) payment such as Zelle, Cash App, Venmo, and PayPal.

Check-in details

Depending on what tour you book, we do pick up 15 minutes prior to the time you chose. We do ask for you to be down in the lobby ready at that time. We also ask for patience while we are getting to all of our guests.

What to bring

  • Comfortable walking shoes or hiking boots

  • Handheld camera or smartphone

  • Gratuity for guide (industry recommendation is 10-20%)

Special requirements

For children ages 4 and under the use of a booster seat or car seat is mandatory.

Restrictions

Bags of any kind and size are not permitted in the canyon/canyons. Due to the fact that drugs, alcohol and even cremated ashes are brought in there is now a strict no bag policy. We do provide water lanyards for our guests to borrow.
